If you think there is a link I should have listed here feel free to tweet it at me, or submit as a Github issue. Even though I do this full time, I'm still a one person show, and I miss quite a bit, and depend on my network to help me know what is going on.

API Analysis Organizations

These are the organizations I come across in my research who are doing interesting things in the API space. They could be companies, institutions, government agencies, or any other type of organizational entity. My goal is to aggregate so I can stay in tune with what they are up to and how it impacts the API space.

Adigami

Adigami is a data integration and visualization company specializing in digital media analytics. Their platform helps companies collect analytics data from all digital media channels (search, display, mobile, web, email, etc.) and bring it into a single data store. Many different data sources such as Google Analytics, AdWords, Bing, Yahoo! APT!, and DoubleClick are supported. Clients can also integrate their own specific data into the mix, enabling them to compare internal metrics against standard digital media ones.

Ai Applied

Leverage the power of thinking technology. Ai Applied provides technologies and services which help you obtain valuable insights from your texts, social media, web and other data. Find out how this is useful, what it was used for, or meet our team. By using Ai Applied's APIs, you can improve your service by making your data richer and more relevant, by enabling new insights and enriching old ones. At any scale. In real-time. All the time.

AlchemyAPI

The product of over 50 person years of engineering effort, AlchemyAPI is a text mining platform providing the most comprehensive set of semantic analysis capabilities in the natural language processing field. Used over 3 billion times every month, AlchemyAPI enables customers to perform large-scale social media monitoring, target advertisements more effectively, track influencers and sentiment within the media, automate content aggregation and recommendation, make more accurate stock trading decisions, enhance business and government intelligence systems, and create smarter applications and services.

Altmetric

Altmetric tracks mentions of scholarly works on social media sites, scholarly bookmarking services and in science news outlets. It handles all of the heavy lifting involved in extracting, disambiguating and collating this information so that you can focus on your core product.  The Altmetric API gives you programmatic access the data about articles & datasets collected by Altmetric.

API Evangelist

This is my professional presence as the API Evangelist, where I work to better understand the world of APIs. I'm always working towards a better understanding of how they are being used, both the good and the bad, across the technology, business, and politics of APIs as I see it.

APImetrics

APImetrics builds on 3 years experience gained working on the challenge of API abstraction and management that is critical to every App and Web Service in use today.  By combining elements gained from API management tools and authentication technologies, APImetrics have been able to build the first, complete, end-to-end API performance test solution.  This allows developers, enterprises and API providers to model complex API scenarios and provide them with real time monitoring and alerts when things go wrong.

Appsee

Appsee enables mobile app publishers and developers to track, understand and improve the user experience in their apps, and act on insights delivered by our SaaS platform.

AuthorityLabs

AuthorityLabs is a simple search engine rank monitoring service for small/medium sized businesses, web development shops, internet marketing consultants and agencies. For a nominal monthly subscription fee the service can track as many domains and keywords as needed with ranking information gathered daily and displayed in user-friendly reports.

AWS CloudTrail

AWS CloudTrail is a web service that records AWS API calls for your account and delivers log files to you. The recorded information includes the identity of the API caller, the time of the API call, the source IP address of the API caller, the request parameters, and the response elements returned by the AWS service. With CloudTrail, you can get a history of AWS API calls for your account, including API calls made via the AWS Management Console, AWS SDKs, command line tools, and higher-level AWS services (such as AWS CloudFormation). The AWS API call history produced by CloudTrail enables security analysis, resource change tracking, and compliance auditing.

AWS CloudWatch

Amazon CloudWatch is a monitoring service for AWS cloud resources and the applications you run on AWS. You can use Amazon CloudWatch to collect and track metrics, collect and monitor log files, set alarms, and automatically react to changes in your AWS resources. Amazon CloudWatch can monitor AWS resources such as Amazon EC2 instances, Amazon DynamoDB tables, and Amazon RDS DB instances, as well as custom metrics generated by your applications and services, and any log files your applications generate. You can use Amazon CloudWatch to gain system-wide visibility into resource utilization, application performance, and operational health. You can use these insights to react and keep your application running smoothly.

AWS Kinesis Analytics

Amazon Kinesis Analytics is the easiest way to process streaming data in real time with standard SQL without having to learn new programming languages or processing frameworks. Amazon Kinesis Analytics enables you to create and run SQL queries on streaming data so that you can gain actionable insights and respond to your business and customer needs promptly. Amazon Kinesis Analytics takes care of everything required to run your queries continuously and scales automatically to match the volume and throughput rate of your incoming data. With Amazon Kinesis Analytics, you only pay for the resources your queries consume. There is no minimum fee or setup cost.

Azure Analysis Services

Use Azure Resource Manager to create and deploy an Azure Analysis Services instance within seconds, and use backup restore to quickly move your existing models to Azure Analysis Services and take advantage of the scale, flexibility and management benefits of the cloud. Scale up, scale down, or pause the service and pay only for what you use.

Azure Data Lake Analytics

The Data Lake analytics service is a new distributed analytics service built on Apache YARN that dynamically scales so you can focus on your business goals, not on distributed infrastructure. Instead of deploying, configuring and tuning hardware, you write queries to transform your data and extract valuable insights. The analytics service can handle jobs of any scale instantly by simply setting the dial for how much power you need. You only pay for your job when it is running making it cost-effective. The analytics service supports Azure Active Directory letting you simply manage access and roles, integrated with your on-premises identity system. It also includes U-SQL, a language that unifies the benefits of SQL with the expressive power of user code. U-SQL’s scalable distributed runtime enables you to efficiently analyze data in the store and across SQL Servers in Azure, Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Data Warehouse.

Azure HDInsight

Azure HDInsight is a Hadoop-based service that brings an Apache Hadoop solution to the cloud. Gain the full value of big data with a cloud-based data platform that manages data of any type and size.

Azure Traffic Manager

Azure Traffic Manager gives you three methods for traffic routing: failover, performance, or weighted round-robin. Choose the one that’s right for your application or scenario.

Botlytics

Analytics for your bot. Track the messages your bot sends and the conversations your bot has.

ChurnBee

What? Churn Bee is a SaaS metrics dashboard. Once integrated via an API, you will immediately start getting a visual representation of how is your startup making progress from day to day. We’ll do all the math and number crunching - you will understand acquisition, activation, retention, growth and other relevant metrics for your startup. Why? Many startups end up building tools and dashboards internally. In fact all the successful startups do. Built by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs, Churn Bee will give you the actionable data you need so that you can focus on making the best decisions.

Civis Analytics

Born out of the Obama 2012 re-election campaign, we’re continuing to push the boundaries of what data can do. We’ve transformed our analytics services into a comprehensive data science platform so you can turn your data into action.

Compete
